Sequoia Hospital, John B. Simpson, MD., Director Redwood City, California
I spent one year with Dr. Sampson's group as a full time Interventional
Fellow and by the end of my training had performed over two hundred
each of Directional Coronary Atherectomy and Coronary Angioplasty
procedures, and about 50 Peripheral Angioplasty and Atherectomy
procedures.CARDIOLOGY FELLOWSHIP
7/89-6/92
Stanford University School of Medicine, Palo Alto, California
I spent three years as a clinical fellow in Cardiovascular Medicine
at Stanford University and in addition to performing in excess of
800 Cardiac catheterizations; I gained expertise in Transesophageal
Echo, treatment of end-stage heart failure patients and evaluation
of p0atients for heart transplantation. My research interest was
neuro-endocrine mechanisms in the patho-physiology of heart failure.

RESEARCH FELLOW, CARDIOLOGY 8/84-6/86 Stanford University
School of Medicine Palo Alto, California
As a research fellow at Stanford, my main focus of study was on
neuro-endocrine mechanisms of heart failure and the evaluation of
end-stage heart failure patients for heart transplants.
